Frequently Asked Questions

  • When is the RSVP deadline?

We kindly ask that all guests RSVP by May 1, 2027. This helps us finalize guest counts, seating arrangements, and weekend details.

  • Can I bring a plus one?

If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be indicated on the Save the Date you received. We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to text us.

  • Are children invited?

While we absolutely adore your little ones, our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration. You're more than welcome to bring children with you to San Francisco, but they will not be able to attend any wedding events throughout the weekend. We appreciate your understanding and hope you'll enjoy a fun weekend away with us.

  • What is the dress code?

Each event has its own dress code, which can be found on the Schedule of Events page. We kindly ask guests to follow the recommended attire for each celebration to help create the experience we've envisioned for the weekend. And yes, we're especially looking forward to everyone's interpretation of Denim Day on Sunday!

  • Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Our welcome party is primarily indoors but includes outdoor space. Sunday's Bay cruise will be outdoors with an indoor section.

  • Is transportation provided?

Transportation will not be provided between events. When planning the weekend, we intentionally selected venues that are located close to one another, making it easy to walk, rideshare, or take a short Uber between festivities. We recommend allowing a little extra time for San Francisco traffic, especially during Fleet Week weekend.

  • Where should I stay in town?

Please review our Travel & Stay page for hotel recommendations and booking information. We've carefully selected hotels based on location, convenience, and proximity to the weekend's events. Unless you've spoken directly with Coco or Eric, we do not recommend booking accommodations outside of our recommended list, as some neighborhoods can be less convenient for navigating the city throughout the weekend.

  • Should I worry about weather and/or motion sickness on the ferry ride?

October is one of our favorite times of year in San Francisco. Days are often sunny and beautiful (Fall is called “San Francisco Summer” for a reason!). However, the Bay can be breezy, especially once you're out on the water, so we recommend bringing a jacket, sweater, or extra layer for comfort.

As for the boat itself, it's a large vessel designed for smooth cruising around the Bay, so significant waves are unlikely. That said, if you're prone to motion sickness (especially after a night out), we encourage you to take precautions beforehand. We'll also have Dramamine and Zofran available onboard for anyone who may need it. Most importantly, relax and enjoy the views. The Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the San Francisco skyline are best experienced from the water.
